Use
Erlenmeyer flasks with baffles are used where cultures or liquids need to be thoroughly mixed. The Erlenmeyer is attached to a shaker and set in rotation. The baffle prevents the liquid inside the flask from rotating evenly and provides additional turbulence.
We deliberately manufacture our baffled flasks with only one baffle. The advantage over flasks with several baffles is that they are not as sensitive, the volume is not reduced as much and the flasks are easier to clean.
