DURAN® Dimroth Condenser, with 2 standard ground joints, and 2 screw-on plastic hose connections, NS 14/23, 160 mm
Due to the internal cooling spiral, the Dimroth condenser is characterized by its large cooling surface (coolant flow in counter flow principle). The most well-known application of the Dimroth condenser is the reflux condenser. A reaction mixture is heated, the resulting vapours condense on the cooling spiral and are returned to the reaction mixture.

• The Dimroth condenser comprises a coil condenser located within a tube
• This condenser type has a larger heat exchange surface and thus a better cooling effect than the Liebig or Allihn condenser
• Two removable plastic olives for inlet and outlet of the cooling medium
• Tight closure due to standard ground joint

Application: Product and reflux condenser, Distillation, Condensers of length 160 mm (with standard ground joint 14/23) and 250 mm (with standard ground joint 24/29 and standard ground joint 29/32) are special sizes and not according to DIN.
