Our clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter enables the measurement of flow velocity from 0.03 to 5 m/s. It can be used for measurements on copper pipes with a diameter between 46 and 54 mm. The clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter of the PCE-UFM-CU series uses the ultrasonic transit time method to determine velocity and flow volume. The flow meter has a separate external clamping device for easy installation without having to touch the liquid medium or stop the production. Special coupling pads ensure that this ultrasonic clamp-on system can also be used without contact gel.

The clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter is equipped with a 360° rotatable display that can be pointed in four directions (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°). The LCD colour display shows the flow velocity, date, time, signal quality, network connection status, instantaneous velocity and cumulative flow, among other parameters. The flow unit can be selected between m³, l and gal.

The clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter uses Power over Ethernet (PoE) for power supply and Ethernet communication to save data to the cloud. This allows users to access, manage and analyse their measurement data at any time and from any location via mobile devices or computers without interrupting production processes. In water and wastewater management, drinking water treatment or in industry, flow meters are used in processes where water is used as a coolant, cleaning agent or component of production processes. They help to optimise water consumption and control the process flow.
